About Us

Back when video games were about the challenge more than the achievements, we still spent countless hours perfecting our skills on titles such as Super Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. Although we love video games of all kinds both vintage and current, the old games are so simple yet addictive and still challenging so we dedicate this to those games and those who enjoy them just as much as we do here at The Vintage Gamers!

Scott Hough

Scott has been playing games for 25 years. His parents bought him a used Atari 7800 for his 5th birthday. He was hooked. He loves RPGs, RTS, and Flight Sim games. He is a big fan of the Dragon Quest franchise.

Samuel Floyd

Samuel first fell into video gaming with the Atari 2600...in 1990! Always late into the system wars, Samuel enjoys that as he acquires them when they're cheap and the hot titles of yesteryear are bountiful. Samuel loves RPGs, his favorite being Crystalis for the NES.

William was first introduced to video games with his brother's Atari 2600, but was seduced by them when his cousin got a Nintendo for Christmas. After pestering his parents for a year, he finally got one of his own. Shortly afterward, he subscribed to Nintendo Power to get a free copy of Dragon Warrior, and has been obsessed with RPGs ever since.
